Distribution Component Systems (DCS) are a highly qualified supplier of specialized components to the electronics industry and the electrical power industry, principally in Southern Africa.

The company was originally incorporated in 1987 and has historical links to Westinghouse Electric Corporation and its then licensed manufacturers in South Africa.

In later years focus has shifted towards products based in Vacuum Tube Technologies - Electron Tubes, Vacuum Interrupters etc. and then further into Radio Frequency equipment and Broadcast equipment.

In Electronics the company has distribution agreements with:

Richardson Electronics, Thales ETD and Cutler-Hammer for Vacuum Tube Products,

OMD & Richardson Electronics for RF and associated products and with

Broadcast Richardson & AEV for Broadcast products.

Globally, the company has distributor representative agreements with:

Westingcorp & Tshepego Projects for high power capacitors and distribution fuse cut outs.
